Apart from being graphic designer, I also like to create sounds. I always did. As a kid, I used cheap tape recorder to create layered soundscapes (it didn't erase, if I only partially jit recors button, and it also recorded in slow-motion). Nothing changed really, now I have maybe some better tools.
